Every birthday marks another year I’ve made it without bein a statistic: I am a black male, livin in THIS country-
I have not been arrested,
I ain’t been fingerprinted,
I don’t have baby mama’s,
I AM in a beautiful, working relationship,
I AM a self-employed artist,
I don’t drink, smoke [anything],
I don’t kill people,
I haven’t been shot, stabbed, or otherwise fkd up;
I am ALIVE and happy and UNCRUSHED. I am an INSPIRATION ENGINE.
I live my life as gift for myself and for ALL of YOU.
I LOVE shattering preconceptions.
